Get new stories by email
We email you when a person has checked a new story against the public record and it goes live. You can also get one roundup on Fridays instead.
What you get
A story alert has the headline, a short summary, the name of the person who validated the story, and a link to read it. We send one only when a new story is published, so some weeks you will hear from us and some weeks you will not.
The Friday roundup lists every story from the past week in one email. In a week with no new stories, we send nothing. If we correct a story you were sent, we email you the correction too.
How it works
After you sign up, we send you an email with a link. Your address goes on the list only when you press the button in that email. This keeps anyone from signing you up without your say.
Every email has a link at the bottom to change what you get or stop the emails. It works with one click, and the change takes effect right away. There are no ads, and we never sell or share our list.
